The official support from Bioware to Neverwinter Nights ended with patch 1.69. The patch added a couple of new features and finished the last of the major bug plagues for the game. Neverwinter was created by Bioware as an RPG based on the third edition of Dungeons & Dragons with Forgotten Realms rules. The game was a success gaining numerous awards in the process. The game's story is centered in the character of the player; he/she has to find out what is causing a mysterious plague in the city of Neverwinter. The game not only was a success in single-player, but was also a popular multi-player. With this success, there was a large community making third-party software, which made BioWare provide more support for them. This last patch includes new graphic textures, monsters and objects for the game. The patch also allows you to have ridable horses and new music. In all, the patch is a worthy end of to a great game. Of course, people will keep playing NWN, but this is the last patch the game will get.
